interior designers - home furnishers - contract furnishers
Starting from humble beginnings with a small wood processing factory in Montagnieu, Roset soon grew and joined forces with interior architects during the 60's and 70's. Their most notable collaboration was with Michel Ducaroy, creating the iconic 'Togo'. For more than 35 years Roset has stood by its intrinsic values and works with only the most exciting and talented designers. Ligne Roset aims to continue to explore the limitless world of design-forward inspiration by working with designers from a broad spectrum of cultures and backgrounds.
amédée is a settee and armchair combination, designed around a lumbar support which is quilted and stitched just like the bucket seats of the best italian motor cars. the armchair may be rotating, and there is also a footstool for when it’s time to relax. chic, urban and thus compact, this family of seating acquires undeniable luxury object status when upholstered in the new full grain, pure aniline orga leather, with its slightly smooth, glossy finish.
andy seems set to be a great classic, bearing as it does the imprint of pierre paulin. in 1962, reinterpreting florence knoll's settee from 1954, he softened all its contours, reducing the number of buttons to eliminate the severe squares of quilting and made the metal structure underlining the edges of its base disappear, retaining only the four legs : in short, he designed a new domestic settee, both sensual and refined.
asmara is making its big comeback to the collection for the 160th anniversary of ligne roset. nostalgics, collectors, fans of co-working and above all visionaries will want to seize the opportunity to rediscover this mythical seating, its comfort further improved by the latest innovations from the roset r&d department! asmara defines itself as a modular settee in a stretch fabric, the concave shapes of which voluptuously hug the contours of the body in an aesthetically human design.
ligne roset was able to work on the reissue of the bonnie seating using a real collector’s item, one of only a few very rare examples in existence (modèles 500 and 500/2 – design 1975). from the outset, the bonnie seating was striking in terms of its comfort, both visual and real, hugging the lines of the human body fiercely. the bonnie seating is at once extremely comfortable and also clever, without being too clever.
clam is a bed-settee with an easy-to operate system which enables it to offer just as much comfort as a settee as it does as a bed. its meticulous finish and apparent lightness enable it to be viewed from all sides and to offer a soothing cocoon in settee position and a generous sleep area when used as a bed. when located in the centre of a room, it becomes an island of relaxation for reading or resting.
do not disturb's lines are sober and elegant. the continuous line of its structure offers broad armrests at just the right height for resting the arms. aesthetics and comfort unite to make one forget that this settee, with its successful proportions, conceals within itself an ultra-efficient manually or electrically-operated mechanism for excellent everyday comfort.
enki is the first seating evangelos vasileiou has designed for ligne roset. Intended to respond to multiple requirements, its pure, elegant lines lend themselves to both stand-alone seating and corner compositions, with a range of 18 items in total. to make it possible to tailor both looks and comfort, there is a choice between 2 leg heights (10 or 13cm), giving a seat height of either 41 or 44 cm, and a choice of 2 heights for the back ccushions (high version 51cm; low version 40cm).
''classic, chic and comfortable, international and timeless.'' with only a handful of elements, all of which are characterised by their irreproachable proportions, it is possible to create a wealth of different settees and corner compositions.
in 2019, the enduring success of the flax armchairs since their launch in 2010 has led philippe nigro to complement them with a settee with the same construction. perfectly proportioned, it offers two generous seat places whilst occupying the least possible space: with a depth of 80cm, it is only 135cm wide.
a deep, multifaceted, international settee, the comfort of which is very apparent thanks to its articulated headrest and ''stretch'' stitching; it was designed to become a great international ''classic''. the backrest uses an inverted chain system, which makes it possible to create a high headrest in vertical position, or a rolled-up one in combination with a lumbar cushion, or a less deep position.
if the term hémicycle might be evocative of the assemblée nationale, it was also chosen for its completely different geometrical connotation. the use of this straight seat must also be well suited to use in institutions, public spaces or more traditional habitations. it represents a classically-styled welcoming place capable of travelling between the highest echelons of power and the intimacy of a contemporary apartment.
in 2023 ligne roset is reissuing its emblematic kashima model. it is the 'comfortable chesterfield'. kashima designed by michel ducaroy offers classic customers the 'english' comfort. the generous shapes of this model enable to give a reassuring image to an all-foam seat. all-foam seating, kashima hides, under its agreeable appearance, a soft comfort in rounded and curved lines. however, this comfort doesn’t jeopardise the quality of the high-density foams that compose it.
